TekCollect, INC. INTRODUCES CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER CHET GROFF
Chet Groff's brilliant career in the credit/collection industry spans 33 years, and counting. Early in his career, Chet worked as a credit manager for a major footwear manufacturer. Later, he became a field manager and loan officer for a major lender of commercial equipment. From there, he went to a regional Midwestern bank where he managed the legal portfolio for their credit card division.
Chet's litigation experience ultimately led him to a collection agency. The company was one of the major forwarders of collection claims to receiving attorneys in the United States, with a portfolio of 35,000 active lawsuits and a network of 205 attorneys, including offshore specialists. He helped grow the agency into one of the Top Five. Chet went on to become their VP of Operations, managing the institution's portfolio of demand deposit accounts, fee for service collection program, and contingent, commercial and consumer accounts. Their DDA portfolio was the largest of its kind in the nation, and included most major financial institutions as well as a large percentage of independent and community banks. Chet served in this role until TekCollect aggressively recruited him as its new Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to building a dynamic career in collections, Chet met his lovely wife in the biz, too. In his free time, Chet is a music aficionado, and plays both guitar and piano. He is also an art, theatre, film and literature buff. His daughter shares his creative tendencies; she's a photographer in New York.
