Ron Douglas is the President of TekCollect, overseeing all operational, technological, sales and financial activities throughout the U.S. As the primary leader for the company, Ron is responsible for all departmental directives and planning as well as development and strategy, in concert with the TekCollect management team.
Ron joined TekCollect in 2000 to spearhead collection software and internet development, and attained a variety of responsibilities in building infrastructure, accounting, customer service and sales. Some of his key achievements include all technology systems development, commission structures, optimizing customer service, and customizing client programs by industry, size, and more. Ron was named Executive Vice President in 2004 and President in 2015.
Prior to joining TekCollect, Ron spent several years managing software systems at a large warehousing and distribution firm. Ron received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Marketing from Wright State University.
David Hughes is TekCollect’s Vice President of Information Technology. David is responsible for all IT systems creation, development, and maintenance, as well as data security for the company. In addition, David serves as chief project engineer for all key client infrastructure origination.
David joined TekCollect as an IT systems engineer, where he developed all operations and web system portals and protocols. David was named the Vice President of IT in 2005.
Prior to joining TekCollect, David was responsible for infrastructure development for cities in and around central Ohio and served as a project engineer for three major banks including Chase. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
Mark Kabbara is the Senior Vice President of Collections and Litigation for TekCollect. Mark oversees all collections, call center and litigations activities for the company and is responsible for ensuring both revenue, compliance and efficiency are maintained at the highest level.
Mark began with TekCollect as a senior collections agent, earning greater responsibility throughout the years. He served as head collections supervisor, and collections director, managing all call center staff, and was named to his current role after several years of driving profitability.
Prior to joining TekCollect, Mark was a high performer and collections leader for several large businesses both in the US and abroad. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt.
Chet Groff is TekCollect’s Chief Operating Officer, reporting to President Ron Douglas. Chet is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and overseeing daily corporate management functions within the company.
Chet joined TekCollect in 2004 as its COO, and under his management the company has developed greater financial and logistical procedures, as well as refined customer care initiatives.
Prior to joining TekCollect, as a 35 year veteran in the industry. Chet began his career with over a decade in credit and finance and served as VP of Operations for two Top 5 ARM agencies.
Steve Morrison is TekCollect’s Chief Financial Officer, reporting to President Ron Douglas. Steve is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial planning and analysis, Human Resources, Accounts Receivable and Payable, and tax functions for the company.
Steve joined TekCollect in 2005 as controller and was responsible for developing the custom accounting system specific to TekCollect’s industry and needs. As the company grew, Steve became the architect of TekCollect’s financial structure, creating best practices and protocols to remain on the cutting edge of compliance and control. He was named TekCollect’s CFO in 2008.
Prior to joining TekCollect, Steve served as the Senior Tax Accountant for a large firm in the Columbus metro area. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Information Systems from Devry University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Diane Schumm is the Vice President of Corporate Services for TekCollect. Diane is the primary liaison for all national, state, and regional professional association relationships and endorsements, and is responsible for cultivating long-standing partnerships with key clientele across the country. In addition, Diane also oversees employee training programs and curriculum development, and consults on all corporate projects.
Diane began her career at TekCollect as an Account Executive, rising in rank to Area Manager and Division Vice President, and earning several awards including TekCollect’s Founder’s Award, the Executive Club Award and Officer’s Club Award, as well as a spot in the Top 10 in Sales for 7 years running.
Prior to joining TekCollect, Diane owned and operated her own pharmacy and collectible gift shop for 25 years, and originated her career in teaching. Diane possesses a Bachelor of Education from Miami University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
